Gastro Intestinal (GI) MAP Test and Evaluation

This 75 minute appointment is an in depth evaluation of the GI MAP stool test. The GI-MAP stool test utilizes cutting edge, quantitative PCR technology to provide a true DNA/PCR based stool test. This technology has high sensitivity, specificity, and a rapid turnaround. The GI pathogens include bacteria, parasites and viruses. The GI-MAP measures opportunistic organisms, normal flora, fungi, parasites and antibiotic resistance genes. The Plus refers to immunologic markers for GI health and function including SIgA, Elastase, Calprotectin and Anti-gliadin testing. The GI-MAP can be used in the detection and identification of gastrointestinal microbial nucleic acids and has been clinically validated for the detection of gastrointestinal pathogens that cause infectious colitis or gastroenteritis. It measures a substantial list of opportunistic pathogens as well as a list of FDA-cleared pathogens, including novel targets such as viruses, microsporidia, and pathogenic virulence factors.

MRT Food Sensitivities Test and Evaluation

This 75 minute appointment includes a patented blood test called MRT (Mediator Release Test) which accounts for all 7 types of food sensitivity reactions. MRT is a food sensitivity test that measures the degree of inflammation that occurs when a food is ingested. Inflammation is at the root of a wide array of symptoms people experience and disease. The MRT results help in identifying non-reactive and reactive foods and chemicals. MRT can help you quickly overcome even the most troublesome food sensitivity related problem.
